About the Email List

TAS has a email list on Google Groups. Our Google Group is composed of an email list of members and has a archival of messages sent. To use the group, you must be a member of the group. Group members can send a message to topekaaudubon@googlegroups.com and all members of the group will receive the message. Furthermore, the email group keeps a history of all messages sent to the group. See previously sent message and manage your membership at Topeka Audubon Group.You do NOT need to be a members of TAS to join the group, but we welcome you to join TAS to help support our mission.

Join the Group

To request membership in the Topeka Audubon Group, you will need a Google Account.
If you are not logged into your Google Account when you go to the Topeka Audubon Group, you will be asked to logon or create an account.
When you are on the Topeka Audubon Group, use the "Apply for Group Membership" link (found in the right hand column) to apply for membership in the group. You will be asked why you want to join the group. This step is required to prevent spammers.
When the list administrator approves your membership, you are a member of the group and can post messages.

Send messages to the group about anything related to the TAS, such as interesting bird sightings or questions to the members

Message Posting Rules

This list is used to notify list members about Topeka Audubon Society related information. Examples of messages are upcoming events, interesting bird sightings, and volunteers requests. If you use the list for commercial purposes or any use not related to the mission of the Topeka Audubon Society, you will be permanently banned from the list.

Remove yourself from the Group

You can remove yourself from the list at any time. Go to the Topeka Audubon group and "edit my membership".

Event Form

Use the Email Sign Up Form at TAS Events to gather email addresses to be added to the Topeka Audubon Google Group. We recommend printing multiple pages of the form as there is only room for about 20 email addresses per page.
